Award of the Purple Fret – June 2011

Purple FretMy first Royal court scroll, an Award of the Purple Fret for Glortathar of Elamon. The design is based on Thucydides “De bello Peloponensium,” mid-to-late 15th century Florence. See the inspiration at http://www.e-codices.unifr.ch/en/cb/0162/1r/small.

The text reads:

It is our intent to reward the deserving, and lest we be foresworn, let it be known by all that We, Arch and Runa, King and Queen of these Middle Lands, having observed the many good works of Glortathar of Elamon, do recognize the exemplary service that he hath freely given unto the Middle Kingdom, specifically divers labors at events and the provision of musical fanfare.
