So the dress was complete in time for Val Day; unfortunately I have no photos from that event to prove it.
I do, however, have this one from the Cleftlands annual Fencing Tournament on February 26, just to give the general effect:

Val Day is tomorrow and I’m making progress! This dress just may happen and I *might* still be able to sleep tonight.
Another productive evening – I have something resembling a gown hanging from a hook on my closet door!
Last night I was able to fully attach all skirt panels, attach the skirt lining to the outer skirt fabric, and pleat the combined skirt to the bodice. Continue reading ❧
I may be on target to complete my dress (at least to a wearable point) by this weekend.
The fabric I am using (hooray for stash garments!) is a very light upholstery fabric, so just for fabric integrity I’m flat-lining the whole garment. Continue reading ❧
